Privacy policy
Short version: we only collect what we need to clean your home, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it any time.

Who we are
Sponge on Wheels ("we", "us") is a family-run cleaning business based in Dulwich, London SE23. You can contact us on WhatsApp at 07453 696 705.
What this website collects
- Nothing on the site itself. Our price estimator runs entirely in your browser and does not send your answers to us until you choose to share them.
- Contact and booking forms open WhatsApp with a pre-written message. Your details reach us only when you send that message.
- Hosting logs. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process your IP address and basic request data to serve the site securely. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
What we collect when you book
To arrange and carry out a clean we need your name, address and postcode, phone number or WhatsApp, details about your property and, occasionally, photos you send us for quoting. We may also hold access notes (for example, key-safe codes) which we store securely and never label with your address.
How we use it
- To quote, book, schedule and carry out cleaning services (contract).
- To invoice you and keep accounting records (legal obligation).
- To contact you about your booking or ask for feedback (legitimate interest).
We will not send you marketing unless you ask for it, and we never sell or rent your details.
Who we share it with
Only the Spongie assigned to your job, and service providers we rely on to run the business (messaging, invoicing and accounting tools). WhatsApp messages are processed by Meta under their own terms.
How long we keep it
Booking and invoicing records are kept for up to six years to meet accounting rules. Quote requests that don't become bookings are deleted within 12 months. Photos you send are deleted once the job is complete unless you ask us to keep them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold, object to how we use it, or ask us to move it. Message us on WhatsApp at 07453 696 705 and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
